Random Thoughts for Friday Afternoon

After a long and rather stressful work week, I must confess that I have neither the time nor the inspiration for a regular post. Instead, I'll leave you with a few random thoughts and happenings from the past couple of weeks:

-A Peculiar People is now one year old! My first anniversary was last Sunday, July 27. You can read my very first post here.

-Headed to the tobymac concert at the NC State Fair in October. Fun, fun, fun! Check it out if you are in the area. Skillet and Leeland will be playing the following weekend.

-Made my first batch of homemade soap this past weekend and it was a success. Hooray!

-Saw a license plate recently on a car here in town. It had a picture of the Bible on it and said "When all else fails, follow the instructions." My reaction? "You idiot! Follow the instructions before anything fails!" I really wonder about people sometimes.

-Picked up Roman Holiday, To Catch a Thief and Johnny Tremain at Amazon.com's Classic Movie Sale. There are some really good deals for those of you who enjoy classic films. I'm looking forward to crashing this weekend and enjoying these movies.

Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend. We will hopefully return to our regularly scheduled posting sometime next week.
